Eroyn Franklin
Seattle-based Eroyn Franklin studied photography and graphic design, spent a decade working in comics, and is currently focused on a ceramics-centered practice. She is the cofounder and former Creative Director of Short Run Comix & Arts Festival, which focuses on small press, handmade and self-published books. Eryon’s work has been published by Fantagraphics, The Nib, Seattle Times, and The Stranger.
In addition to her large-scale ceramic installation for Facebook, Eroyn, in collaboration with her sister Tory Franklin, has created public art for Sound Transit, Harborview Medical Center, and Mark Twain Elementary.
