About PublicDisplay.ART

PublicDisplay.ART (PD.A) is a quarterly tabloid publication published by One Reel, a 501c3 non-profit, focused on showcasing Seattle area artists and supporting Seattle’s creative industry. The first edition, released December 2021, shared the work of ten artists, several with national and international recognition for their work. The print format places “art directly into your hands,” and is available for free at locations throughout the city.

Starting in March, PD.A will expand its arts coverage to include a lead feature by local educator, artist and writer, Sharon Arnold, as well as creative industry news columns, gallery listings, a guide to Seattle’s neighborhood artwalks, and will feature the work of fifteen local artists.

“We hope to use an old friend—a free, tabloid publication—to reinvigorate the idea that creativity is still at the heart of Seattle, that the free exchange of art and ideas makes our community better… We hope that PublicDisplay.ART will rekindle that sense of discovery and become an inspiration for exploring visual arts around Puget Sound.” – PublicDisplay.ART
