Sarah Gordon
Sarah is a British artist and textile designer working from her coastal home studio on Bainbridge Island, WA. She is known for her curious, contemporary artwork that brings together seaweed and coral with botanicals, insects, birds and other natural elements. Her bold incorporation of contrasting colour and mark making is influenced by the simplicity of abstract art and combined with her love for quirky antique botanical illustrations creating a unique view into nature. Sarah’s illustrative work has been featured in a major contemporary art show at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. The most recent fashion and home clients/collaborations include Banjanan, Kate Hudson’s collection HAPPYxNATURE, Kingdom Home Design, Figo Fabrics, Evermade UK, Chivasso Home Decor and Lily and Rose Swimwear/Hap Istanbul.
