I am very excited to open AMcE’s 2025 exhibition year with As We Imagined. The show is a zingy exploration of the power and fallibility of mythmaking. I am extremely proud of this show and its talent – I feel honored to be showcasing some new faces in the gallery. And special to this show opening is the electronic music talents of exhibiting artist Jesse Reno, who will perform “slow beats, public service announcements & easy listening sounds.”
Our second show in 2025 will be Force of Nature. The theme is woman- or nature-based work by women artists celebrating the feminine and mother nature’s glorious powers. There will be a few new faces in show as well and some larger-than-life work.
During Force of Nature, the gallery will also host some exciting events.
April 19, 1p – 3:30p exhibiting artist Maija Fiebig will lead a pom making workshop (ticketed with space limited).
May 3, 2p – 4p – An Afternoon of Artist Talks with Force of Nature exhibiting artists
May 10, 12p – 4p, AMcE will present a boutique artisan market featuring local makers. It’s scheduled on Mother’s Day weekend – a perfect outing to share with mom.
