Sarah Gordon
Sarah is a British artist and textile designer working from her home studio on Bainbridge Island, WA. Deeply influenced by the natural world, her work reflects the sense of wonder and tranquility she finds in nature. These experiences shape her artistic process, infusing her pieces with movement, texture, and organic form. Her bold use of contrasting color and mark-making is inspired by the simplicity of abstract art, while her love for antique botanical illustrations brings a sense of history and intricacy to her compositions. The result is a distinctive, modern perspective on nature.
Sarah’s illustrative work has been featured in a major contemporary art show at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. Recent fashion and home clients/collaborations include Banjanan, Kate Hudson’s collection HAPPYxNATURE, Kingdom Home Design, Figo Fabrics, Evermade UK, Chivasso Home Decor, and Lily and Rose Swimwear/Hap Istanbul.
